Design and develop automation frameworks for UI and services within a shift-left testing environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation frameworks for UI and services using Java or TypeScript.
• Implement component and integration automation testing for microservices.
• Troubleshoot critical issues in design or code.
• Conduct code reviews and evaluate architecture against business and technology goals.
• Execute integration and functional tests during CI and end-to-end/regression testing during CD.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of overall automation experience.
• Proficiency in Core Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium for UI automation.
• Experience with Rest Assured for API automation.
• Knowledge of TDD and BDD methodologies.
• Experience with TestNG, Serenity, JBehave, or Cucumber.
• Proficiency with Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Experience with Jenkins or GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and mocking frameworks like Mockito.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SonarQube code coverage and quality.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and AWS.
