Description

Own test case implementation, automation development, and defect supervision for Java-based UI, API, and backend testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain test cases based on user stories, presenting results and supervising defects to closure.
• Develop and maintain Java-based automation scripts for UI, API, and backend testing using OOP principles.
• Perform API testing with Rest Assured and database validation using JDBC/JPA.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Track test execution, report issues and risks affecting project timelines, and ensure process compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development or test engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming, including Collections, Exception Handling, Streams, and Lambda Expressions.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks: Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Experience with API testing using Rest Assured.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases: Oracle, DB2, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience constructing end-to-end business scenarios based on business objectives.
• Ability to align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities.
