Description

You will act as the sole QA engineer for your squad, managing testing for one distributed batch application and two web applications.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end QA process by writing test scripts and defining testing scenarios.
• Participate in triage meetings and backlog grooming to review scope and provide accurate delivery estimations.
• Enhance existing automation coverage for batch and web applications to address current gaps.
• Identify and extract required transactional test data using SQL joins across multiple Oracle databases.
• Collaborate with the squad to understand user stories and clarify requirements during grooming sessions.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium for UI automation.
• Solid understanding of Core Java, specifically strings and collections.
• Ability to write SQL statements and joins to query data from Oracle databases.
• Experience working within an Agile environment and managing user stories.
• Experience using database clients such as Toad or SQL Server.
• Proven ability to work autonomously as the primary QA resource for a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing or enhancing automation frameworks.
