Description

Lead quality engineering activities within an Agile environment, focusing on end-to-end test strategy and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead QE activities including test case preparation, risk-based testing, and story point estimation.
• Develop and maintain automation suites using Java and Selenium for UI and mobile testing.
• Execute front-end UI testing and back-end testing covering databases, APIs, and MicroServices.
• Perform application debugging and manage defect logging and reporting using Jira.
• Report sprint-wise and monthly execution and automation metrics.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development and test automation.
• Proficiency in Core Java programming and concurrent coding.
• Extensive experience in API testing, specifically SOAP and MicroServices.
• Expertise with Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries for data validation.
• Experience with BDD and Cucumber.
• Hands-on experience with UI and Mobile testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and code versioning tools like Git or SVN.
• Experience working within Scrum/Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• AWS and Lambda knowledge.
• Kafka messaging experience.
