Description

Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks for cloud-based web, mobile, and API solutions while owning release pipeline quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement automation testing for web, mobile, and RESTful services.
• Prepare test plans, write test cases, and execute smoke, functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Review functional requirements to provide testing scope and inputs to the functional team.
• Provide project status, estimates, and metrics to improve QA cycle efficiency.
• Mentor junior members and take ownership of specific features in a distributed organization.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and automated testing.
• Proficiency in coding with JavaScript or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress or similar front-end automation frameworks.
• Experience with Selenium and mobile automation using Appium.
• Strong understanding of BDD frameworks and the software development lifecycle.
• Expertise using JMeter, Postman, or similar HTTP test clients.
• Clear understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services.
• Experience testing for cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, Agile methodology, and source control like Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
• Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• BE, B.Tech, ME, or M.Tech in Computer Science or IT with 60% and above.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWA).
• Experience testing microservices.
