Description

Design, maintain, and execute automated test suites for Yum services to ensure functional reliability across cloud and containerized environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated tests for functional use cases using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop and manage UI test automation strategies using Playwright.
• Monitor test pipelines and utilize observability tools to triage bugs and resolve failures in various environments.
• Create test scenarios for complex GraphQL queries and MQTT or similar Pub/Sub interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to investigate issues and proactively drive issue resolution.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software testing experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Mocha or similar test runners.
• Proven experience with Playwright for UI test automation.
• Experience testing GraphQL APIs, including complex query structures.
• Experience testing MQTT, WebSockets, or SSE interfaces.
• Working knowledge of Docker, containerized deployments, and container registries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud environment testing and observability tooling.
