Description

You will lead the modernization of the test automation strategy by building scalable frameworks across UI and API layers.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript for UI and API testing.
• Drive the migration from legacy Selenium, Java, and Postman frameworks to unified automation aligned with CI/CD.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate test execution into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• Perform manual exploratory testing and test case design for complex workflows not yet automated.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to test architecture decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
• Proficiency with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience with JavaScript and Java.
• Hands-on experience with UI testing and API testing (REST/SOAP).
• Proven experience migrating from Selenium or Postman to modern frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and testing pipelines.
• Ability to write and maintain SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience with qTest or similar test case management tools.
