Description

Lead quality engineering for SaaS products by designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, SQL, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Perform full-stack test automation covering UI, API, and backend/database layers.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous testing efforts while mentoring junior team members.
• Lead the implementation of QA best practices, protocols, and standards.
• Contribute to developing a reusable, scalable automation and development platform.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering background with solid development skills.
• Proven coding experience in Java and working with SQL databases.
• Expertise in test automation using Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Deep understanding of QA architecture, automation strategy, and engineering principles.
• Comfortable operating in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Highly hands-on with demonstrated leadership skills to influence technical direction.
