Description

You will lead test automation strategy and execution for complex, microservices-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain automation frameworks using Java and JavaScript, including API and functional testing.
• Develop test strategies, plans, and automated regression suites for CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to onshore and offshore test engineers.
• Design and implement API test automation frameworks and manage results analysis.
• Collaborate with product owners to resolve issues and refine functionality based on business requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in test automation framework design and development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (3-5 years) and JavaScript.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or JBehave (3-5 years).
• Strong experience testing REST APIs and webservices (3-5 years).
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and managing relational databases.
• 3+ years of experience with JMeter for scenario-based performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Git.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Playwright, Python, or AWS Cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Apigee or other API gateways.
• Experience with TDD, code review practices, and Agile/Lean methodologies.
