Description

Lead test automation efforts for CI/CD pipelines, covering systems, infrastructure, and framework maintenance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated functional scripts using Java, Karate, and JMeter.
• Design and build robust API test automation frameworks for REST services from the ground up.
• Mentor test engineers on best practices, testing methodologies, and framework usage for onshore and offshore teams.
• Collaborate with product owners to resolve issues, manage enhancements, and clarify functionality.
• Execute exploratory and manual testing to validate product suites and integration points.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in software development and test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or JBehave.
• Extensive experience testing REST APIs and web services.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation and testing.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing using JMeter.
• Experience with end-to-end system integration testing and microservice architectures.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python development and AWS cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with API gateways like Apigee.
