Design and execute automation strategies for front-end and backend applications in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the overall automation strategy for the application under test.
• Support the application team in continuous delivery and CI/CD efforts.
• Participate in code reviews and assist engineers with approach design, script development, and reporting.
• Analyze and communicate test results and defect resolution tasks.
• Influence stakeholders to adopt automation practices to improve development efficiency.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of proven experience in software development in test roles.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Proven experience in API automation using REST Assured.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of both front-end and backend automation.
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
