Description

Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for web and backend systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and BDD (Cucumber).
• Perform API automation and validation using REST Assured.
• Create and execute automated test cases for web applications and backend services.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and Git.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them to closure.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Test Automation or SDET roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Proficiency in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber.
• Proven experience with REST API testing using REST Assured.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle for backend data validation.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Docker for test environment setup.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
