Description

You will own the end-to-end automation strategy for mobile and API testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up Appium test frameworks and establish testing direction and strategy.
• Develop feature files using Gherkin language within BDD automation frameworks like Cucumber.
• Write, execute, and maintain test scripts for native mobile applications and APIs.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to identify the root cause of defects and failures.
• Manage defects and participate in the testing lifecycle within Agile/Scrum projects.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of total QA experience with at least 5 years focused on Mobile and API automation.
• Proficiency in Java or C# for coding and scripting.
• Extensive experience with Appium and cloud services such as Perfecto, SauceLabs, or BrowserStack.
• Strong knowledge of API automation using RestAssured or HTTPClient Java libraries.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java-based testing frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience with BDD, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Proficiency in SQL using Joins and managing test data via Excel.
• Working knowledge of GIT for version control and Jenkins for continuous integration.
• Solid understanding of Java concepts including Arrays and Collections.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of JavaScript.
