Description

You will own the development and maintenance of end-to-end automated test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Design scalable and reusable automation frameworks and utilities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Perform functionality, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing.
• Debug test failures, analyze logs, and provide root-cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 3–8 years of overall QA experience, with minimum 2+ years using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright features (fixtures, selectors, tracing, parallel execution).
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and DOM structure.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Exposure to cloud-based test execution platforms.
