Description

You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for validating RESTful APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test cases for RESTful APIs using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Build automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration.
• Conduct manual API testing to validate complex scenarios and troubleshoot failures with development teams.
• Develop test plans and monitor test execution and defect metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and agile practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and service virtualization.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
