Description

You will design, maintain, and expand automated test infrastructure for embedded software products.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Partner with developers to create, maintain, and execute automated integration and functional tests.
• Translate user stories into test scenarios and execute end-to-end system integration and user acceptance tests.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Write, execute, and maintain code while participating in code reviews to ensure quality and testability.
• Create and update technical documentation, including API documentation, user guides, and code comments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on creating and executing automated tests.
• 2+ years of professional experience using Java or Python.
• Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience testing back-end services and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix based systems.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD build pipelines.
• Experience planning, estimating, and prioritizing testing activities within an Agile environment.
• Experience using Jira or qTest for requirement traceability and test case tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Spark, and Selenium.
• Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks such as Cucumber or JBehave.
• Experience validating or delivering connected car services.
