Description

You will develop and maintain quality assurance processes for embedded software products, owning the automated test infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand automated test infrastructure for embedded software.
• Partner with developers to create, maintain, and execute automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Translate user stories into test scenarios and cases, providing feedback on testability.
• Write, execute, and maintain end-to-end system integration and user acceptance scenarios.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience creating and executing automated tests.
• Experience with a scripting language (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Bash, or Powershell).
• Experience with a strongly typed programming language (Rust, Go, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python).
• Experience testing back-end services and/or APIs.
• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD and updating build pipelines and pipeline tasks.
• Experience working with Linux/Unix/MacOS based systems.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar tools for tracking and traceability.
• Experience in estimation, prioritization, and planning/coordination of testing in an Agile environment.
