Description

You will design and execute automated testing strategies for data platforms and backend systems in Plano, TX.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test cycles and plans across DB, API, and Authorization for integration, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing.
• Develop automation tools, data, infrastructure, and frameworks to support testing efforts.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders and developers to ensure full test case coverage for all requirements.
• Drive quality assurance best practices and contribute to integration test reviews.
• Query and create data using relational and NoSQL databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development in test roles.
• Extensive experience with Python 3.x and Pytest, including decorators, markers, fixtures, and data classes.
• Proficiency in Java and Selenium automation.
• Experience testing backend systems via RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Code Deploy, S3, Elastic Search, Athena, Lambda, CloudWatch, EC2, boto, and aws CLI.
• Experience integrating automated tests and reporting into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for data querying and creation.
• Experience using Selenium/POM frameworks for testing applications built with Pyramid, React, or Redux.
• Proficiency with Zephyr for manual and automated test management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with automotive data sets.
• Knowledge of industry compliance standards related to data analytics.
