Description

You will design, develop, and run automated testing systems for complex, multi-tiered distributed architectures, owning the release pipeline from requirements through production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain highly proficient test scripts using common programming languages.
• Build and maintain Continuous Integration test systems.
• Perform load, performance, and scalability testing on distributed applications.
• Handle complex software system infrastructure tasks from requirements through to production.
• Document, track, and escalate software issues through collaborative partnership.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of test automation experience.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Go, Java, Perl, C++, JavaScript, Node.js, or Bash.
• Experience testing Relational and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience with AWS resources including EC2, EKS, Lambda, Kinesis, S3, and AWS CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing Restful Web Services and J2EE applications.
• API testing expertise using REST, SOAP, Postman, or SoapUI.
• B.S./B.A. degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Testing experience with Kafka or similar queuing services.
• Knowledge of Data Science, Big Data frameworks, XML, XSLT, JSON, or API security testing.
