You will own the automation strategy and execution for our QA processes, ensuring high-quality releases through robust test frameworks.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and patterns like POM and Hybrid.
• Develop and execute API test scripts for REST services using tools such as Postman, Swagger, RestAssured, or Karate.
• Write and maintain test code in Java or Python, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to identify defects and drive resolution.
• Perform backend data validation using basic SQL queries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SDET or QA automation roles.
• Proficiency in Java (preferred) or Python programming.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Experience with API automation tools including Postman, Swagger, RestAssured, or Karate.
• Familiarity with BDD/Cucumber, Karate, or similar BDD frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Rally, or Azure DevOps Boards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent documentation skills.
