Description

Lead quality engineering efforts by designing automated tests and implementing scalable test solutions within an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan test schedules and strategies based on project scope, prioritizing work with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, UX/UI, and Product Managers to design automated tests and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop test engineering best practices, principles, and metrics to communicate status to stakeholders.
• Lead automation script code reviews and provide guidance on testing best practices.
• Coordinate test-related activities, including test data creation, environment utilization, and task dependency identification.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• At least 5 years of experience in QA and/or Development.
• At least 2 years of experience as a QA lead.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Manual Testing and Functional Testing.
• Proficiency in quality tools.
• Demonstrated experience using GitHub for code repositories.
• Experience using JIRA for project management and defect tracking.
• Ability to assess risk to determine appropriate levels of testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience presenting testing topics to internal and external quality assurance peer groups.
