Description

You will design, create, and execute automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript to ensure software functionality and user interface integrity. You own the quality assurance process from smoke tests to regression suites, translating customer requirements into effective automated strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute data-driven testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage across API and web applications.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests, supporting continuous integration, and deployment processes.
• Participate in product specification and code reviews, aligning testing efforts with product goals and identifying potential risks.
• Support functional, security, stress, and failure injection testing to drive continuous improvement and product reliability.
• Assist in go/no-go release calls by evaluating test results and determining product fitness for deployment.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles.
• Proficient in Playwright for API and web automation.
• Strong coding skills in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or Java.
• Experience with performance testing tools, particularly JMeter.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and DevOps tools including Jenkins and Git.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies like TDD, BDD, and ATDD in agile settings.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and coding standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Octopus Deploy.
