Description

Lead test automation for a payments modernization program migrating SWIFT to ISO20022. You own the quality strategy, framework design, and execution for critical financial transaction workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies for end-to-end payments processing, covering domestic wires, SWIFT cross-border, and real-time payments.
• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright for UI and API testing.
• Create and execute automated test cases for complex payment flows, data transformations, and reporting functionalities.
• Validate compliance, format validations, and data mapping for ISO20022 message conversions (pacs.008, pacs.009, pain.001, camt.056).
• Collaborate with global onshore/offshore teams to ensure high coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in software test automation and QA.
• Strong expertise in banking and payments domain knowledge, including wire transfers and cross-border payments.
• Proficiency with Java, Selenium, and Playwright for building robust automation frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience leading QA efforts for complex, business-critical financial applications.
• Deep understanding of ISO20022 standards and legacy Mainframe to cloud-native migrations.
• Ability to leverage Generative AI in testing processes to improve efficiency and coverage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with real-time payment systems such as RTGS, SEPA, Fedwire, or CHIPS.
• Strong communication skills for client-facing roles and distributed team collaboration.
