Description

You will own automation testing for microservices and web applications using Cypress and Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Cypress and Java.
• Automate API and microservices testing using REST Assured or Karate.
• Implement API/microservices mocking using Mockito, WireMock, or Mountebank.
• Manage data access and modification via scripts for MongoDB and Postgres.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development in test roles.
• Solid experience with Cypress for web automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Extensive experience with API/Microservices test automation using REST Assured or Karate.
• Hands-on experience with mocking tools such as Mockito, WireMock, or Mountebank.
• Knowledge of service virtualization tools.
• Ability to connect to and modify data in MongoDB and Postgres via scripts.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and Jenkins setup.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of parallel execution using Sauce Labs.
