Description

You will own automated testing for microservices and API layers using Cypress and Java.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Automate API and microservices testing using RESTAssured or Karate.
• Implement API/microservices mocking via Mockito, Wiremock, or Mounte.
• Manage data access and verification by connecting to MongoDB and Postgres through scripts.
• Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Apply service virtualization techniques to support testing workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test roles.
• Strong experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency in Java for automation development.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and Microservices architectures.
• Experience with RESTAssured or Karate frameworks.
• Experience with MongoDB and Postgres database connectivity.
• Knowledge of service virtualization tools.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and Jenkins setup.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of parallel execution using SauceLabs.
