Description

Ensure the quality and reliability of ETL processes and data integration workflows through automated testing and validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, automation frameworks, and test cases for complex data initiatives.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts to validate data transformation and migration.
• Identify, document, and track bugs while performing root cause analysis and regression testing.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities within an Agile team environment.
• Review technical design documents and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years focused on ETL testing and automation.
• Proficiency in developing automation frameworks using at least one scripting language.
• Strong SQL skills and experience handling big data using ETL tools like Informatica.
• Experience testing in cloud environments, specifically AWS S3.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices applied to ETL and Cloud workflows.
• Experience working within a Big Data ecosystem processing data in a data lakehouse.
• Proven ability to provide testing oversight in Agile teams.
• Strong business communication skills for interacting with cross-functional and business teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) or similar data transformation tools.
