You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation to optimize search engine relevance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to gather requirements for search engine functionality.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and patterns in search relevance and optimization.
• Document technical requirements for indexing, ranking, scoring, and user interface enhancements.
• Create data visualizations and reports to communicate search performance to stakeholders.
• Work with engineering teams to implement optimizations and validate their effectiveness through usability testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, product manager, or similar role focused on search engines.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, or Algolia.
• Deep understanding of search engine relevance, optimization techniques, and user experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization using Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate technical concepts into business language.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of query optimization, indexing, and machine learning for search relevance.
• Familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies.
• Understanding of software development processes and technical constraints.
