Description

You will own the security posture of our infrastructure, databases, and web-based systems.

None of the work mode flags (remote, hybrid, on-site) are set, so no specific work mode line is included.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard infrastructure and databases.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and security architecture reviews for new products and features.
• Respond to alerts from security tools, triage potential issues, and troubleshoot security system failures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to communicate, remediate vulnerabilities, and promote security by design.
• Research security trends and unauthorized access methods to preemptively mitigate system breaches.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in security or a related industry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in secure coding and development.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, or React.
• Deep understanding of common infrastructure security vulnerabilities.
• Expertise in the infrastructure security domain.
• Experience with infrastructure security within the context of SDLC and CI/CD.
• Experience working across all stages of the infrastructure lifecycle.
• Strong ability to communicate security vulnerabilities to key stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
