You will manage security infrastructure, automate workflows, and maintain compliance standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain logging and SIEM systems, including installation, configuration, and rule creation.
• Develop scripts and workflows to automate repetitive security tasks, log analysis, and vulnerability scans.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as runbooks, system build guides, and incident response playbooks.
• Merge datasets from multiple sources to automate administrative actions within Active Directory and inventory systems.
• Monitor and report on remediation efforts for vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security administration or a related technical role.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or similar scripting for automation and data manipulation.
• Experience with Python for automation, data correlation, and workflow creation.
• Strong knowledge of computer networks, Windows ecosystem, and Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience configuring firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scanners like Nessus.
• Ability to write Regular Expressions and YARA rules for log analysis and threat detection.
• Experience with syslog configuration and log stream categorization.
• Knowledge of information security frameworks such as NIST and CIS.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements including IRS Pub 1075 and PCI DSS.

Preferred Skills

• Database administration experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or Postgres.
• CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
