You will manage security operations, incident response, and vulnerability assessments within a complex network environment.
Responsibilities
Execute security incident response and conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Manage and maintain network security infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, DMZs, and proxy/filtering systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, PCI SS v3.2, GLBA, HIPAA/HITECH, NIST 800-53, and the California State Administrative Manual.
Document technical processes, procedures, and project deliverables using strong technical writing skills.
Collaborate with project teams to identify and formulate solutions to complex security problems.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in security or network administration.
Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Proficiency with network hardware including switches, routers, load balancers, servers, and storage systems.
Deep understanding of LAN, WAN, Internet, and network protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, NTP, DNS, LDAP, NFS, and Samba.
Experience managing AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
Knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases.
Practical experience with Active Directory and ServiceNow.
