Description

You will manage security operations, incident response, and vulnerability assessments within a complex network environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute security incident response and conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Manage and maintain network security infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, DMZs, and proxy/filtering systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, PCI DSS v3.2, GLBA, HIPAA/HITECH, NIST 800-53, and the California State Administrative Manual.
• Document technical processes, procedures, and project deliverables using strong technical writing skills.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and formulate solutions to complex security problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security or network administration.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with network hardware including switches, routers, load balancers, servers, and storage systems.
• Deep understanding of LAN, WAN, Internet, and network protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, NTP, DNS, LDAP, NFS, and Samba.
• Experience managing AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases.
• Practical experience with Active Directory and ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP certification.
• CEH certification.
