Description

You will manage information security architecture, threat management, and incident response for the county.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security architecture and technology solutions to meet compliance requirements.
• Configure vulnerability assessment tools, perform scans, and coordinate penetration tests.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and threats to recommend corrective actions for routers, firewalls, networks, and operating systems.
• Maintain Incident Response and Business Continuity standards to assist in recovery from security incidents.
• Configure security systems and parameters in accordance with industry best practices and county standards.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science-related field plus 2 years of relevant work experience, or 6 years of relevant work experience.
• CISSP certification (required within 90 days of hire).
• 5 years of experience with supportive information systems security certifications.
• Experience with vulnerability management and threat hunting processes.
• Ability to perform onsite work in Chesterfield, VA, and attend onsite interviews.
• Proficiency in assessing security techniques for engineering design and support.

Preferred Skills

• CSSLP certification.
• CRISC certification.
• SANs certifications.
