Description

You will lead security, risk, and compliance activities for ongoing cybersecurity efforts and Medicaid agency initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead security, risk, and compliance activities in support of cybersecurity efforts.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and vendors to fulfill organizational initiatives.
• Align technical requirements with business objectives for diverse audiences.
• Manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a results-oriented environment.
• Communicate complex processes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience auditing IBM System 390/zSeries, Windows, Linux, and web-based applications.
• Strong working knowledge of FISMA, NIST, CMS MARS-E, and HIPAA Security and Privacy.
• Experience working within a FISMA compliant program.
• Hands-on experience with Relational and Non-Relational databases, including NoSQL.
• Experience with networking infrastructure, including firewalls, IPS, switching, and routing.
• Familiarity with SIEM and Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Practical experience with eGRC systems or RSA Archer.
• Professional certification from ISC(2), ISACA, or SANS GIAC.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Visio.

Preferred Skills

• Prior ITIL experience specifically in Information Security Management.
• Prior Health Information Technology experience.
