Description

You will lead the ISSO team as a cybersecurity consultant, overseeing security program compliance and risk management activities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ISSOs, providing technical guidance and managing task completion.
• Perform architectural reviews and risk analysis for network design, data access models, and firewall rules.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs).
• Audit internal agency systems and business partner controls to ensure audit-ready status.
• Conduct security reviews of contracts, Business Associate Agreements, and data usage documents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• Strong knowledge of FISMA, NIST, CMS MARS-E, and HIPAA Security and Privacy standards.
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows server environments.
• Experience managing databases and working with Microsoft Office software.
• Proven ability to lead teams and act as an escalation point for complex compliance issues.
• Experience integrating security tasks into the System Development Life Cycle (SDLB).

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with RSA Archer, SIEM solutions, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Knowledge of Cloud services, vendor management, and Network Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
