Description

Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events to protect client information systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using Microsoft Sentinel and CrowdStrike.
• Investigate security incidents to determine root cause, impact, and resolution.
• Develop and implement analysis rules, correlation searches, and alerts to detect suspicious activities.
• Analyze logs from network devices, operating systems, and applications.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a security analyst role or similar position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel and CrowdStrike.
• In-depth knowledge of log formats including syslog, Windows Event Logs, and application logs.
• Experience writing and tuning analysis rules and correlation searches.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and the threat landscape.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and vulnerability management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Splunk, ArcSight, or QRadar.
• Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell for automation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of GDPR and HIPAA compliance standards.
