Description

You will manage security compliance and control assessments within mainframe and network environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive System Security Plans (SSPs) following NIST Special Publication 800-53.
• Conduct security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security controls.
• Create and maintain IT policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including IRS 1075 and SSA security standards.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience with NIST standards.
• 8 years of experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs) per NIST SP 800-53.
• 8 years of experience conducting security control effectiveness assessments.
• Proficiency in Network Security.
• Experience working with Mainframe environments.
• Knowledge of IRS 1075 and SSA security regulatory requirements.

Preferred Skills

• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification.
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification.
