Own Android platform security, framework customization, and certification compliance for next-generation devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Android Framework and System Services within AOSP.
• Design and troubleshoot SELinux policies (sepolicy) for complex platform use cases.
• Resolve CTS, VTS, and STS compliance issues to ensure platform certification.
• Customize Android build configurations using BoardConfig.mk, Soong, and Android.mk.
• Strengthen platform security through permission management, Keystore, and secure architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Android Framework and AOSP.
• Deep understanding of Android Internals and System Services.
• Proficiency in Java and Android Build Systems.
• Experience with Platform Configuration and security hardening.
• Ability to debug issues across the stack, from bootloader to framework.
• 3-8 years total experience in embedded Android development.

Preferred Skills

• C/C++ programming experience.
• Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), IVI, or Automotive Cybersecurity.
