Description

You will design, build, and maintain security automation solutions and SOAR playbooks to streamline incident response and monitoring operations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to support large IT environments.
• Integrate security tools and platforms via REST APIs, utilizing JSON and YAML for data exchange.
• Design and implement security monitoring use cases and incident response workflows.
• Support multi-tenancy deployments and enterprise service projects.
• Maintain and optimize automation platforms to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in information technology or security.
• 5+ years of experience supporting large IT environments or system deployments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with automation platforms or SOAR solutions.
• Strong scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and YAML structures.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Experience working in multi-tenancy or multi-agency enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating automations specifically within the Cortex XSOAR platform.
• CISSP, CISA, CISO, CEH, OSCP, or GPEN certifications.
• Local to Columbia, South Carolina or surrounding areas.
