Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Implement cloud security controls, identity and access management (IAM), and network security.
Monitor cloud infrastructure for security threats and vulnerabilities.
Develop and automate security processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Implement AI/ML-based security solutions for threat detection, anomaly detection, and incident response.
Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
Perform security assessments, risk analysis, and compliance audits.
Investigate security incidents and support incident response activities.
Stay current with emerging cloud security and AI technologies.
Required Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of cloud security services and best practices.
Familiarity with IAM, firewalls, VPNs, encryption, and network security.
Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep).
Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and their security applications.
Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and security monitoring tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in cloud engineering or cybersecurity.
Experience with DevSecOps practices.
Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
Exposure to Generative AI, LLM security, prompt engineering, or AI governance is a plus
