Description

Own the security posture of software applications and infrastructure through assessment, policy implementation, and incident response.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses on applications and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with industry standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and execute remediation strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on security status, risks, and recommendations.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of proven experience in IT security and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Hands-on familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Deep understanding of IT security principles and risk management methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex security challenges.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with compliance standards including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
• Ability to provide training and awareness programs for staff on security best practices.
