Role Overview

Vanguard is looking for a Senior Security Developer/Technical Engineer to build and improve security solutions. The person will focus on security automation, vulnerability management, APIs, cloud, and reporting tools.

Required Skills

• Strong software development experience with Python, Java, C#, or similar
• Experience with security automation
• Knowledge of workflow automation/orchestration
• Strong API development and system integration skills
• Experience with AWS or Azure
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and CI/CD
• Data engineering, analytics, and dashboard development
• DevSecOps and infrastructure automation
• Enterprise application architecture and platform design
• Experience with security tools such as:
• Wiz
• Qualys
• Archer
• ServiceNow
• Good understanding of vulnerability management and remediation

What the Candidate Will Do

• Build centralized vulnerability management solutions
• Automate security processes and manual workflows
• Develop security APIs and integrations
• Create security and vulnerability dashboards/reports
• Track vulnerability ownership and remediation
• Integrate data between security and engineering platforms
• Work with AWS/Azure cloud environments
• Support DevSecOps and CI/CD automation
• Improve processes using AI and automation
• Design scalable enterprise-level applications
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members
