Description

You will provide strategic security guidance for application development and evaluate technical controls.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical security guidance for secure application development.
• Evaluate and recommend technical controls for software security.
• Integrate application security tools into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Manage automated application security testing tools including SAST, DAST, and SCA.
• Troubleshoot security issues within complex technical environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Application Security Engineering experience.
• 2+ years implementing technical solutions in a large enterprise environment.
• 2+ years of experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• 1+ year of experience writing SQL queries.
• 1+ year building and managing MS SQL and/or Oracle databases, including data feeds and ETL.
• Proficiency in C# or JavaScript.
• Experience troubleshooting in complex technical environments.

Preferred Skills

• Expert understanding of OWASP Top 10 and SANs/CWE Top 25.
• Experience with Java, .NET, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
• DevSecOps experience and application security certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, CEH, or GIAC credentials.
