Description

You will identify security threats across applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Drive security certification activities including architecture reviews, threat modeling, source code reviews, penetration testing, and cloud security audits.
• Build tools to automate repeatable and reusable security processes and frameworks.
• Promote secure by design and secure by default development strategies.
• Own the resolution of security events, policy questions, and technical security risks.
• Support security risk acceptance and exception processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of security engineering experience with expertise in the Secure Development Lifecycle.
• Proficiency in scripting with JS or Python.
• Experience performing manual code reviews to assess secure coding standards and project security compliance.
• Experience applying tooling for static code analysis to identify vulnerabilities.
• Deep technical understanding of security engineering and problem-solving.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing software applications or security automation tools.
• DevSecOps experience with a focus on integrating SAST tools within CI/CD pipelines.
