Description

Lead risk identification and mitigation for internet-facing assets using the Qualys ASM Platform.

Responsibilities

• Identify and catalog external-facing assets, including cloud resources, domains, subdomains, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and automate detection and notification workflows.
• Analyze risks from identified vulnerabilities and provide actionable mitigation recommendations.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for incidents involving external-facing assets during forensic investigations.
• Manage, configure, and optimize the Qualys ASM Platform, integrating it with SIEM and SOAR tools.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity and attack surface management.
• Deep expertise with the Qualys ASM Platform.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and workflow development.
• Strong understanding of networking, DNS, web applications, APIs, and the OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing methodologies.
• Ability to develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs and remediation progress.
