Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain next-generation firewalls and security systems to protect internal databases and information systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy next-generation firewalls based on security best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions for complex security systems.
• Research developments in firewall, IDPS, WCF, DLP, and VPN technologies.
• Define security requirements and review systems for compliance.
• Participate in on-call duties and travel domestically or globally 1-3 times per quarter.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in networking, troubleshooting, and analysis tools.
• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying next-generation firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with intrusion detection systems (IDPS), anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, and content filtering.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, access-control lists, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Proficiency with dynamic routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Working knowledge of WCF and DLP.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Networking, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Vendor certifications such as Fortinet, Cisco, or Blue Coat.
• CCNA or CCNP-Security certifications.
