Description

Design and build secure backend services and microservices for enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot for internal and external consumers.
• Build and maintain secure REST APIs following security best practices and reuse-first patterns.
• Operate cloud-native applications on AWS, implementing security controls across infrastructure layers.
• Execute standard security solutions, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation to satisfy compliance requirements.
• Apply AI-assisted practices within SDLC routines to strengthen security testing and control validation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in security engineering concepts.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot microservices architecture.
• Experience with AWS services, distributed systems, and secure coding practices.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining microservices and REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with encryption, key management, and data protection solutions.
• Ability to contribute to audit readiness and observability improvements.

Preferred Skills

• React for frontend basics or full-stack exposure.
• Experience with AI/GenAI tools and GitHub Copilot to improve developer productivity.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms in cloud-native environments.
