Description

You will design, integrate, and implement enterprise-wide information systems security infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Assess potential vulnerabilities and determine appropriate security measures to mitigate risk.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor systems and recommend changes to security posture to prevent breaches.
• Research emerging security threats to proactively eliminate risk.
• Provide expert-level guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for security automation and development.
• Experience with Splunk or other SIEM/monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with VMware and cloud/virtualization security.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and network security controls.
• Experience using Jenkins, Puppet, or Chef within DevOps workflows.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, authentication).

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, CISA, Security+, or GIAC certifications (GCFW, GCED, GSEC).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
