Security Engineer III - Threat Modeling

You will own threat modeling and security architecture for complex applications. You identify critical gaps in network design and create detailed documentation of threats and mitigations. You produce architecture artifacts that ensure design constraints are met by software code. You conduct reviews of existing security controls to ensure compliance and effectiveness with minimal oversight. You also analyze data sets to identify hidden patterns that improve coding hygiene and system resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive analysis of security risks to protect data, applications, and infrastructure.
• Conduct thorough reviews of existing security controls to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Identify critical gaps in network architecture and document threats and mitigations for software applications.
• Produce detailed architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Analyze large data sets to identify patterns that drive improvements to coding hygiene.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in Security Engineering and Cybersecurity Architecture.
• Strong background in Risk Management, System Design, and Network Security.
• Hands-on experience with SDLC and Agile Methodologies.
• Practical experience in application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in creating secure production code.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies, specifically AWS and GCP.
• CISSP or CCSP certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Modern front-end technologies and Mobile technologies.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices.
