Description

You will own the security infrastructure and processes that protect internal systems and secrets management.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure for SSH, VPN/Wireguard, and secrets management.
• Automate tasks by building APIs and creating self-service tools.
• Modernize existing security tools to optimize the secure end-user experience.
• Partner with infrastructure and engineering teams to ensure security and resilience.
• Cultivate and maintain open source projects within the organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in systems and network security engineering.
• Experience implementing commercial or custom authentication solutions.
• Proficiency with GNU/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Several years of professional experience in a high-level language such as Ruby, Python, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with GNU/Linux, SSH, VPN, and HTTP.
• Experience with LDAP, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building highly available and secure systems at scale.
• Experience with configuration or orchestration management software such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience with the HashiCorp stack, specifically Vault.
