Description

Build and maintain security tools, providing Tier 3 engineering support for cybersecurity products while managing Linux server operations and executing security reviews to close control gaps.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and troubleshoot Tier 3 issues for cybersecurity products.
• Administer and maintain enterprise Linux servers (CentOS/RHEL).
• Develop security designs, requirements, and risk management plans.
• Perform security reviews to identify gaps and implement controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience in Cybersecurity and IT engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems (CentOS/RHEL).
• Experience with SIEM tools, specifically Splunk.
• Familiarity with SOAR platforms (e.g., Swimlane).
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Ability to document security requirements and risk plans.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or Security+.
